PhD in Economics and Business from the Rovira i Virgili University. Master’s Degree in Teacher Training in Secondary Education specializing in Economics from the National University of Distance Education. Master’s Degree in International Economics and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Rovira i Virgili University.

His research activity is related on the one hand to Regional and Urban Economics and on the other to Industrial Organization. His research interests include: firm’s location determinants, economic geography, business innovation, productivity and ICT analysis, focused on the Software and Video Games industry.
