The PSiNET researchers are professors in the Psychology bachelor’s degree programme, various master’s degrees in Psychology and Health and the doctoral program on Health and Psychology at the UOC. In addition, we offer the possibility of doing the research practicum, and Bachelor and Master thesis  with us.

Transfer to scientific organisations

We take part in different associations and international networks, and we are committee members and reviewers of national and international scientific projects, as well as journals (e.g. Health Expectations, ISRN Pain, Medicine 2.0., JMIR, Society for Participatory Medicine, Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Social Networking, Anuario de Psicología, Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, Col.legi Oficial de Psicòlegs de Catalunya, Health Literacy Europe, etc. ).

Consultancy and transfer to businesses and institutions, public and private

We are committed with several institutions and organisations such as patients organisations and Federations (Eurordis, Sindrome de Lowe, Enfermedades-raras.org, COCEMFE, FEDER, CIBERER), also we collaborate with health institutions and/or the health-social departments in some governmental institutions (e.g. Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, TICSalut Social, Ajuntament de Barcelona, Generalitat de Catalunya, Agència de Qualitat a Internet, Barcelona Health Hub,  UOC eHealth Center) and do consultancy to different companies working in the field of health (e.g. DKV Seguros, 8wires.io).

Transfer to the Society as a whole

We regularly participate as experts on different news media — such as RTVE, TV3, 8TV, Catalunya Ràdio, la Xarxa, El PaísLa Vanguardia, diari ARA and El Periódico, among others. We also contribute to the blog Psychology 2.0 and mHealth in Investigation and Science with the objective of reflecting on the way ICTs have changed our lives and can help us promote healthy habits.
