This area aims at applying ICTs to interventions in pain problems from a biopsychosocial perspective.

 

Projects

RELIEF. Recovering life wellbeing through pain self-management techniques involving ICTS (2016-2021)

Funding: European Union’s Horizon 2020 program. Grant agreement nº 689476.

Objective: The project searches for new technologies to assist chronic patients to Self-Manage their pain through a Pre-Commercial Procurement process. http://relief-chronicpain.eu/

AIJ Teens (2014-2020) 

Funding: UOC Doctoral Grant.

Objective: Creation and development of an online resource (Instagram) for adolescents with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) with the aim of providing tools that help them to manage the disease and improve their quality of life. (videos in Youtube

DARWEB (2012-2017)

Funding: RecerCaixa, Obra Social La Caixa (2012-2013); Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (2014-2017).

Objective: Creation and development of an online psychosocial intervention for children and adolescents with recurrent abdominal pain and their families, with the aim of providing tools that help them to improve their quality of life.
