Doctor Cum Laude in Information and Knowledge Society from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Master’s Degree in Information Society from the UOC and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona. Since 2001, he has been a professor in the area of Economics at the UOC’s Economics and Business Studies. His areas of expertise are Economic Theory, with a specialization in Microeconomics, and Economic Structure, particularly the Spanish and global Economy. His research interests lie in labor economics, focusing on changes in employment driven by different technological revolutions, as well as e-learning and training. He has published various materials, chapters, and articles on these topics and is a research member of the I2TIC-IALab group.
