Doctor in Education and ICT (e-Learning), Master’s in Information Society and Technical Engineer in Management Informatics at UOC. Bachelor’s in Business Sciences and MBA from ESADE.

His research has focused on dropout in higher education, with a focus on distance (online) higher education, emphasizing the importance of defining the phenomenon and variations between programs, which can have significant implications for educational management. Regarding his current research objective, the focus shifts to the integration of AI uses in SMEs, considering the effect on the effectiveness and efficiency of the tasks where it is applied, as well as the satisfaction of people with these uses.

As a research manager since 2014, he has coordinated the definition of UOC’s research missions, with a focus on interdisciplinarity and transferability. Previously, he promoted research planning in studies, research centers, and the Doctoral School, as well as the definition of research and transfer indicators.
