Profile

Holder of a doctoral degree in Economics, Law and Business from the University of Girona, with international mention, and a master’s degree in the Quality Management and Evaluation in Higher Education from the UOC. She also holds a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science for Management and in Computer Engineering, both from the University of Holguín (Cuba). She is a Lecturer at the UOC in the areas of quality management, environmental management, occupational risks and social responsibility. Previously, she was an Adjunct Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona’s Department of Business and a researcher at the University of Girona, where she is carried out her predoctoral research with a grant awarded by the European Social Fund and the Catalan Government.

Dalilis Escobar Rivera’s research activities lie in the fields of consumer behaviour in the tourist industry and the collaborative economy. Accordingly, she studies consumer delight and quality evolution in collaborative economy environments. Furthermore, she conducts research on excellence and its impact on sustainable management. Since 2022, he has been a member of the DigiBiz research group.
