Studies on the use of digital technologies by boys and girls indicate an increase in screens in schools, but especially in homes, since 2013. Children already use smartphones and tablets before the age of two to play, to to communicate, to create and to learn. There are still important doubts about the possibilities of the interactive medium for the development of the little ones at a cognitive, affective and psychomotor level. Investigating to find out how the youngest boys and girls interact with digital technologies is more necessary today than ever.
This book aims to contribute to research in the field of children’s interaction with interactive screens during early childhood, and is disseminated openly to reach all academics interested in this area, but also educators and families concerned about select and offer quality resources that contribute to a healthy, responsible and educational use of technology by
