Salim Baloch

I am a dedicated researcher specializing in computer vision and AI, with a particular focus on activity recognition and intelligent systems. I’m completing a Master of Software engineering at the University of Electronic Sciences and Technology in China. I have co-authored several publications in reputable journals and conferences on advancing AI applications. I thrive in collaborative research environments, always seeking opportunities to contribute, learn, and grow in the global research community. I am going to start my PhD on “A Multimodal Framework for Children’s Emotion Recognition Using Vision Transformers and GRUs” at the Child Tech Lab in September 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Lucrezia Crescenzi-Lanna.
