Take part in the Unirun, the race for Catalan universities

21/01/2022

13 March is the date for the 8th Unirun, the 5K race for Catalan universities, to be held in Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum. The race is open to everyone. Current, former and future university students are all welcome, as are teaching and other staff, suppliers, supporters and family members associated with any Catalan university.

An individual and inter-university competition

In addition to the individual competition and the Catalan University Road Race Championship, the event also features a competition between universities. So, when registering, runners must identify with one of the universities. Each university has a team: in our case, that of the UOC, and each team will wear a t-shirt with the name of the university it represents.

Every year, from the registration fees collected, the Unirun makes a charitable donation to a social organization, which this year is the Ared Foundation.

Cost and registrations

Registrations are open until 8 March, and can be carried out on the race website. When you register, you must indicate which university you want to represent. Registration costs €9 or €11, depending upon whether you have a timing chip.

Join in and help the UOC win. And don’t take too long, as places are limited!
