Casa Asia organizes the lecture series “A Panorama of Chinese and Sinophone Literature in the 20th Century” in collaboration with DigiTrans. This four-session lecture series (May-June 2023) will be conducted by members of the DigiTrans project, and it will offer a broad overview of authors, works, literary movements, and the socio-historical context in which they developped. Via close readings of short stories and novel excerpts, we will discuss the main features of the literary movements that marked the last century in the Chinese-speaking world.
