Casa Asia in collaboration with the Barcelona Confucius Institute Foundation (FICB) and DigiTrans organize a new cycle of a monthly online book club under the title “Women Voices“.

The sessions will focus on a set of outstanding literary works by female writers: Love in a Fallen City (Un amor que destruye ciudades) by Eileen Chang; Private Life (Vida Privada) by Chen Ran; Posthumous Letters from Montmartre (Cartas póstumas desde Montmartre) by Qiu Miaojin; The Head (La cabeza) by Dorothy Tse; and Red Leaves (Hojas rojas) by Can Xue.

The sessions will be hosted monthly by DigiTrans members Antonio Paoliello (UAB) and Teresa I. Tejeda (USAL) from September 2023 to January 2024.

This collaboration with well-established local institutions reinforces DigiTrans as one of the most active promoters of translated Chinese fiction in Spain.
