News: Crossing Borders to Connect Routes in Uruguay

This past November 21-27, 2023 our own Dr. Adriana Ornellas participated in a research stay at the Instituto de Fundamentos y Métodos en Psicología (Institute for Foundations and Methods in Psychology) at the School of Psychology of the Universidad de la República (UDELAR) https://psico.edu.uy/, in Montevideo, Uruguay.

During her stay, she shared our Crossing Borders to Connect Routes work, by participating in the VIII Encuentro Latinoamericano de Metodología en las Ciencias Sociales (8th Latin American Conference on Methodology in the Social Sciences) Presentación — VIII Encuentro Latinoamericano de Metodología de las Ciencias Sociales (unlp.edu.ar), where she made a presentation in collaboration with Dr. Amalia Creus (UOC) and Dr. Mónica da Silva (UDELAR) titled “Una investigación transnacional sobre las desigualdades educativas que afectan a jóvenes inmigrantes en tres continentes” (A Transnational Research Project on the Educational Inequalities Affecting Young Immigrants across Three Continents).

She also participated in the III Diálogo sobre Movilidad Humana (3rd Dialogue on Human Mobility) https://fhce.edu.uy/iii-dialogo-sobre-movilidad-humana/, organized by the Observatorio de medios de comunicación y mobilidad humana (Observatory of Communications Media and Human Mobility) (Migramedios) at the UDELAR, which took place on November 27th and 28th.
