Researching with educational communities to promote equity and fight racism towards immigrants in a post-pandemic world

The Project

Crossing Borders to Connect Routes is an international research project funded by the Spencer Foundation which explores an emergent and highly relevant social issue: the deepening of the educational inequities affecting migrants within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Its main aim is to understand how the pandemic and its consequences have affected the education of migrants in different parts of the world. Stemming from a qualitative, narrative approach, the goal is to capture the complexity of this phenomenon, exploring the nuances and textures of the pandemic as a lived experience, thus enriching the perspective that other emergent research has on the same subject, and which is mostly of a global, quantitative nature.
