Enrique Mora Roás

BA in East Asian Studies (Universidad de Sevilla), completing University of Tokyo’s “Global Studies in Asia” program through a scholarship for his undergraduate studies. MA in Japanese Language, Literature and Culture (Universidad de Granada). MA in Specialized Translation: Literary and Humanistic (Instituto Superior de Estudios Lingüísticos y Traducción). Currently, he is a PhD student under the UOC Doctoral School Grant in the Humanities and Communication Programme. His research focuses on left-wing revolutionary movements of prewar Japan through an examination of their intellectual history and a critical gender approach, more specifically focusing on the construction of masculinity. Concurrently, he has also worked as a co-translator of Japanese proletarian author Kobayashi Takiji’s Vida de un militante y otros relatos proletarios for Editorial Satori (2022).
