Conference: Concealing Agents: Intentional Processes of Invisibilization in Modern Asian History

Organized by Mònica Ginès, the Institut d’Asie Orientale at Lyon, and the Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies, the conference Concealing Agents: Intentional Processes of Invisibilization in Modern Asian History brought together (April 27-28) to discuss processes of concealment in the context of Modern Asian history.

The reports of the Medical Relief Corps in China’s war with Japan’s, 1942-1943”, and Manuel Pavón-Belizón addresses issues of silencing in the dynamics of translation of Chinese women intellectuals.
