Adrià Voltes
Adrià Voltes is a member of Anthropology of Animal Life – Group of Studies of Ethnozoology, attached to the Catalan Institute of Anthropology and the scientific team of the Franz Weber Foundation. Graduated in Genetics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Biomedicine from Pompeu Fabra University and a PhD in Biomedicine in the field of Neurobiology from Pompeu Fabra University. His interests and ethical-political commitments revolve around the scientific debate about non-human animal sintience, of the discrimination of spectrum and anthropocentric, and of the body as an emancipatory subject. His perspective is to converge research, scientific communication and activism.
