CALL FOR PAPERS: The Politics of Bordering: Literature, Theory, and the Political

We invite submissions for a special issue of Theory Now: Journal of Literature, Critique and Thought, guest edited by Prof. Mark Devenney and Dr. German Primera (Centre for Applied Philosophy, Politics and Ethics – University of Brighton).

This issue explores the intersections of literature, critical theory, and the political in relation to the practices and imaginaries of bordering.

Submission deadline: September 15, 2025

Interested contributors must register and submit their work via the journal’s website, following the publication guidelines through this link.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed, and publication is subject to a positive evaluation.
