About the author
I'm a member of the eLearning Innovation Center's (eLinC) Learning Design Advisory (LDA) team and an expert in pedagogy and methods in university e-learning design. I currently provide advice to teaching staff members for the pedagogical design of courses and programmes implementing the UOC's Niu-challenge model, and for competency-based and online assessment, among other things. I'm also actively involved in projects relating to the incorporation of the gender perspective in teaching, programmes' use of portfolios and the design of the new Canvas classroom. I have been with the UOC in various capacities since 2009 – as a student, tutor and course instructor – and, since 2016, as a member of staff. I have a degree in Psychology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and a master's in Education and ICT (E-learning) from the UOC. I have been a face-to-face and online trainer, and an adviser. I've also been in charge of in-company training, and worked in the fields of cultural management and active ageing.
