About the author
I am a specialist in the design of learning and in professional teaching development programmes for online teaching. I am an advisor and consultant in the field of pedagogical design in higher education. I form part of the UOC eLearning Innovation Center team of learning design advisors. I advise teachers in the pedagogic design of programmes and courses, the definition of significant activities in authentic environments, the application of didactic strategies in virtual learning contexts, the planning and energizing of online teaching, and the design and assessment of competency learning. I have published articles, book chapters, guides and resources to support training design in digital education. I am a trainer at Education Science Institutes and I give talks, courses and workshops (in-person and online) to teams related to training in university teaching at different universities. I have taught at the University in in-person and online classes. I have trained the teaching teams of Spanish and foreign universities, and I have participated in consultancy projects regarding the implementation of online education at higher education institutes in Latin America. I have trained UOC teaching and administration staff to adapt to the EHEA. I form part of the organizing committee of the International Conference on University Teaching and Innovation (CIDUI). I like to add value to teaching based on didactic methods and teamwork because I learn more and better.
