Graphic identity

The main themes of the ARGOT project are print culture, especially in the periodical press, and the intersection between literature and politics through translation. With these themes in mind, and relying on the design talent of Sebastián Barbero, we created a logo that reflects the main interests of the project: Anarchism (present in the capital letter A, part of the graphic identity of this movement since the 19th century); the periodical press (by using a typography that recalls the newspapers of the period studied); and translation (expressed in the “t” linked by a ligature to the previous glyph, which represents translation as a relational activity that connects people and ideas). In accordance with the traditional palette of this movement, the logo is available in black and red.
